Registration for University of Mpumalanga students is now open. All students will need to familiarise themselves with the registration process.
University of Mpumalanga (UMP) students are now able to complete their registration. Students must register on the following dates:
- First-year students: 6-10 February 2023
- Returning students: 13-17 February 2023
- Masters and Doctoral students: can register until 26 April 2023
Returning students must ensure that they are financially cleared and do not have any outstanding modules before attempting to register.
Please note that registration will take place solely online, using your own cell-phone, tablet or computer. No walk-ins on campus are permitted. Students can register online using this link by signing in using their student number and user pin.
Registration will be on a ‘first-come-first-served’ basis. Once all the spaces have been filled for a qualification, registration will be closed for that particular course.
Therefore, acceptance into a programme does not guarantee enrolment, so make sure that you complete your registration as soon as possible.
Remember to have all your necessary documents, such as a certified copy of your ID and your matric certificate, on-hand when completing your online registration.

Orientation week for new students will take place from 11-17 February 2023, and classes will officially commence on 20 February 2023.
