The Central University of Technology (CUT) has announced that the form for the transport allowance for students is now available on the student portal. Students are encouraged to apply for the transport allowance if they qualify and need financial assistance to cover their transportation costs. The deadline for submitting the application is April 30, 2023.

Eligibility for the CUT transport allowance form

CUT students who have registered for the 2023 academic year are eligible to apply for the transport allowance. The allowance is available to students who meet the following criteria:

• Full-time registered Central University of Technology (CUT) students in their first year of study or higher
• Reside more than 5km from the campus they are registered at

• To apply for the transportation allowance, students must log in to the CUT student portal and complete the online application form.
• The form will require students to provide personal information, including their name, student number, and contact details.
• Additionally, students will need to provide information about their parents or guardians and their combined household income.
• After submitting the application, students should expect to receive an email confirming that their application has been received.
• The CUT Student Financial Aid Office will review the application and notify students of the outcome via email.
• Students who are approved for the transport allowance will receive an email with further instructions on how to collect their allowance.
