It’s important to know that any queries with R350 grant appeals need to be relayed to the Independent Appeals Tribunal and not SASSA, which means separate contact details.

SASSA has a toll-free call centre which you can call at 0800 60 10 11. You will just need to select 1 after calling and follow the prompts after that.

You can also send an email to grantenquiries@sassa.gov.za. Be sure to include your ID number in the email so that they know who you are and can find your details easier.

Should there be issues with the helpline, you can contact Kenneth Baloyi, Sassa’s contact center manager. He can be reached by calling 079 308 1033 or sending an email to kennethba@sassa.gov.za.

The SRD website, which can be found at https://srd.sassa.gov.za is a platform especially used for the R350 grant. Here you will find more information on the SRD grant and how to apply for the grant. If you have already applied, this website is also where you can check your application status.
