How To Find The Latest DPSA Vacancies Circular

The Department of Public Service and Administration (DPSA) releases a list of the latest government jobs available in different department using the DPSA circular. But where can this be found?

The public service vacancy circular is published on a weekly basis and has the job advertisements for jobs in Public Service departments. Job vacancies in various government departments will then be listed along with the job requirements and application details.

How To Find The DPSA Circular

  1. Go to the DPSA website
  2. On the menu bar, click on ‘Newsroom’
  3. Select ‘Public service vacancy circular’
  4. On the right, you’ll see the Latest PSV Circulars
  5. Click on the top one, which is the latest one

How To Apply For DPSA Vacancies

When you gain access to the DPSA circular, you will then find pages filled with job advertisements in various fields at various levels. The different departments are separated.

When you find one you’re interested in, you will need to look for application information in two places. One is the general applications details which can be found under the department name and then the other is if there’s a separate application section in the job you’re looking for’s details.

Most of the time, job applications have to submitted using the Z83 form. The latest Z83 form can be found on the DPSA website.

How To Fill Out The Z83 Form

Each application for employment form must be fully completed, duly signed and initialled by the applicant. Failure to fully complete, initial and sign this form may lead to disqualification of the application during the selection process.

Applicants must indicate the reference number of the vacancy in their applications. Also, make sure that the Declaration section is signed and dated, if it is not completed it is an immediate disqualification.

Section A, B, C and D on the form are compulsory and Section E, F and G can be ignored if a CV is attached.

Along with this form, applicants will need to submit their detailed CVs and nothing else. Government has made it clear that additional documents will be requested should the candidate make it to the interview step.

Once the form is fully filled out, the applicant will need to submit it according to the instructions given in the government job advert. This is usually done via email, hand delivery or post.

Only applicants with an original ID or passport may apply using this form.
