At the beginning of every academic year, students who intend to study at the University of Mpumalanga are required to register themselves at the university. All students are required to register, including first-time, returning and international students.
The University of Mpumalanga (UMP) requires all its students to register at the beginning of every academic year. In order to secure placement in their chosen field of study, students will need to register.
New students, returning students, and masters and doctoral students have their own registration period. All students will be required to pay a registration fee in order to secure their placement in the programme.
New students who have been accepted into a programme will need to register within the specified registration period as space is limited. In the event that all available spaces for new students have been filled before the end of the registration period, registration for that specific programme will be closed.
Registration will be on a “first-come-first-served-basis”. Therefore, acceptance into a programme does not guarantee enrolment.
Registration will only be done online. Students may use their smartphone, laptop, tablet, or computer to register.
