Sol Plaatje University (SPU) was the first University built after Apartheid and was the first built in Northern Cape. SPU offers a range of both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.

Firm Offer
You have been accepted to study for the programme you applied for. You will only be accepted for one programme.
Waitlisted
A final decision will be made if space is available.
You will receive an email / SMS indicating the final outcome; please do not contact the University.
Unsuccessful
We regret to inform you that your application has been unsuccessful as you do not meet the minimum admission requirements.
After the University receives the Matric results from the department, the results will be matched to your application and SPU will send you an email /SMS to confirm your application status.
If you haven’t received any response on your application rom the Admissions office by 5 March, you should then send an email to applications@spu.ac.za for help.
SPU is currently not able to assist with face-to-face enquiries. You are urged not to come to the University to verify your status or submit your final results.
