We remind all undergraduate, honours and postgraduate diploma students that the final date for initial minimum payments for the first semester is 28 February 2023.

Earlier, students had been encouraged to make their payments as early as possible to be able to finalise their registration and then start their studies.

Registrations are only processed if the minimum required fee has been paid, and it will take at least 48 hours after payment has been made for the payment to reflect.

The university has a variety of different payment methods that are convenient for its students, some of them are as follows:

  1. Debit cards
  2. Credit cards
  3. Unisa web credit card payments
  4. Bank deposit
  5. Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)

In the case of electronic transfers, students have been advised to diligently complete the reference field.

The university has also emphasised that no cash or cheques are to be accepted at any of its offices across the country but it can be paid into the Unisa bank account at any First National Bank (FNB) and ABSA Bank branches.

According to Unisa, once registrations for the 2023 academic year have been finalised, the student will receive a letter confirming the student’s registration for the relevant semester and it will be directly sent to the myLife email account.

Should the student not receive it, they may request for one on the myUnisa student platform and a copy will be sent to your myLife email account.

Students who have already made the payment, will need to double check if they have paid the correct amount according to Unisa’s fee structure and to also make sure that they don’t have any library books outstanding from a previous registration period.
