Unisa Masters Application Requirements

All master’s degrees require the completion of a bachelor’s degree and usually require an undergraduate GPA of 3.0. Many schools also require taking entrance exams like the GRE or GMAT.

You’ll usually need a 2:1 at Bachelors level, or an equivalent qualification, to be accepted onto a Masters degree. However, those with a 2:2, a third, or no undergraduate degree at all may be considered provided they have appropriate professional experience.

  • A student registered for a 180-credit structured coursework master’s degree must complete the study programme within three years.
  • A student may apply to the Master’s and Doctoral Section for one additional year of study.

UNISA Masters Degree Modules

You will take six modules overall (2.5 and 3.5 each term), plus write a dissertation. Modules usually meet for two hours per week, so for one term that means five hours per week, and for the other term seven hours per week.
