The Vaal University of Technology (VUT) academic year usually kicks off at the beginning of February, leaving students with roughly two weeks to complete their registration before classes begin.
Vaal University of Technology, like other institutions of higher education, have opened its online portals for students to register themselves for the 2025 academic year.
Students do not have to physically come to campus to register; it is all completed online.
VUT Online Registration Dates
Vaal University online registration dates are as follows:
- Firm Offers (first year applicants who have already received full admission to the University): 19 – 23 January 2025
- Senior students: from 19 January 2025
- First years (current matric learners awaiting final matric results): from 25 – 30 January 2025
- Closing date for registration amendments (additions/cancellations): 03 February 2025
Along with registration, usually comes registration fees.
Payment can be made at any ABSA branch or any ABSA ATM at least 24 hours before starting the registration process. Confirmed Nsfas funded students and other sponsored students may not be required to pay the registration fee.
