Students who have officially been accepted to the Mangosuthu University of Technology can now begin their online registration process. Here is how it will work.
Registration for Mangosuthu University of Technology (MUT) students will run from Monday, 30 January until Friday, 10 February 2023.
Registration will take place solely online, no walk-ins will be allowed. If you are struggling to complete your online registration you can call 031 907 7181/031 907 7180 or send an email to info@mut.ac.za
Successful applicants will receive an SMS of their confirmation. In this SMS, the applicant will receive a student number, as well as a qualification code and the date in which they should register on.
They will also receive a link directing them to a document containing information on how to register, how to pay and how to apply and register for residence.
How to register
1. Visit the university website:Â www.mut.ac.za
2. Click on ‘Student Portal’.
3. Click on ‘Student IEnabler’.
4. Select ‘Student’.
5. Enter your student number and your current pin. Or enter the default pin (46579) if you have yet to change it.
6. Click the ‘Login’ button.
7. Click on ‘Registration’ on the left hand side of the screen.
8. Select ‘Rules and Regulations’ and accept the terms and conditions.
9. Submit your registration on the left-hand side of the screen.
10. Select your employment status.
11. Register for your subjects by selecting the subjects relevant to your qualification.
12. Remember to save and continue.
13. Select ‘Accept Registration’. Your registration is now complete.
14. Once you have completed your registration you must click on ‘Proof of Registration’ on the left-hand side of the screen.
15. You can then print your registration status.
Your student card will be activated on campus.
Please note that you need to follow ALL the steps listed above before you are fully registered as a MUT student.
