University of Johannesburg 2023 Registration

Now that the 2022 matriculants have received their final results, the University of Johannesburg has officially opened undergraduate registration for the 2023 academic year.

Registration for returning and continuing students at the University of Johannesburg already opened on 16 January and will close on 10 February 2023.

Registration for first-year undergraduate students opens on 20 January and will close on 10 February, and registration for all students will only take place online and no on-campus registration will be allowed.

How To Complete Your University of Johannesburg Registration

  1. Log onto the UJ registration portal using your student number and password
  2. Click on the ‘Classes’ tab and then click on ‘My registration (ITS Enabler)
  3. Click on ‘Registration’
  4. Follow the prompts and provide the details needed
  5. Read the POPIA regulations and click on ‘I Accept’ to continue
  6. Verify your details
  7. Click on ‘Uploading of Documents Required’ to upload outstanding documents
  8. Click on ‘Registration Verification’
  9. Click on ‘Submit payment’
  10. Read the Academic Registration Rules, Regulations and Indemnity and click on ‘I Accept’ to continue
  11. Click on ‘Submit Registration’
  12. Click on ‘Save and Continue’
  13. Select your combination of modules to be taken and click on ‘Save and Proceed’
  14. Verify the modules and click on ‘Continue”
  15. Verify your registration cost and click on ‘Accept registration’
  16. Print your proof of registration

First-years will also only be allowed to complete their registration online and will only need to go to campus to collect their student cards.

Students will need printed proof of registration as well as an ID card or driver’s license before being allowed access to campus.
