If you have submitted a R350 grant appeal after having your application rejected, then you might be interested in tracking its outcome. Here is how to do so.
If your application for the South African Social Security Agency’s (Sassa) R350 Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant was rejected and you disagree with the decision then you are allowed to lodge an application appeal.
Although it is recommended that appeals be lodged within 30 days of the applicant receiving their rejected application status, they must be submitted within 90 days.
Recently, Sassa announced that an Independent Tribunal will take over the appeal for reconsideration applications process for the current cycle of the R350 grant. This means that Sassa is no longer involved with the appeals process as the Independent Tribunal is independent to them.
If you are looking to submit an appeal then you can do so using the following website:

Once the appeal has been submitted then the Independent Tribunal will aim to finalise the appeal within 60-90 days from the date on which the appeal was received.
