The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) is on track with arrangements to disburse the February 2023 social grants payments from Thursday, 2 February 2023.
The SASSA Payments will be made from Thursday, 2 February 2023. Here are the Sassa grant payment dates for February 2023: Older Persons/ Pensioners Grant: Thursday, 2 February 2023. Disability Grant: Friday, 3 February 2023. All other Grants: Monday, 6 February 2023.
Sassa R350 Grant Payment Date for February 2023
Thursday 2 February 2023 to Monday 6 February is reserved for the payment of old age, disability and child grants. The rest of the month is dedicated to the payment of R350 SRD grants.

- All Other Grants – Monday, 06 February 2023
- Sassa SRD Grant Payment Date – After permanent social grants
Only qualifying beneficiaries will receive the social grant payouts every month.
The grant amounts that SASSA beneficiaries in South Africa will receive are now as follows:
- Old age and disability grants – R1 990
- Persons over the age of 75 and war veterans – R2 010
- Foster care – R1 070
- Care dependency – R1 990
- Child support – R480
In October 2022, the Disability Grant increased from R1 890 to R1 990 and the War Veterans Grant increased from R2 000 to increase to R2 010. In April 2022, the Old Age Grant increased to R1 980 and further increased to R1 990 in October 2022.
For people older than 75 years, in April 2022, the grant increased from R2 000 and then to R2 010 in October 2022. These grants amounts have already been confirmed by SASSA.
SASSA also urges all clients to make use of the multiple ways available to access their funds. The methods include the use of retailers and ATMs.
Sassa Grant Payment Dates for R350 Grant
The Sassa Payment Dates for R350 Grant for February 2023 haven’t been confirmed yet. SASSA has said that there is no fixed payment date for those who receive their SRD grant payments through the bank account. These SASSA payment dates are no longer applicable to the post office payout system. SASSA R350 beneficiaries can receive their grants as soon as they receive confirmation of payment from SASSA.
Beneficiaries are urged to wait for an SMS to say that they can collect their R350 grant and should not head out to collect it if they haven’t received an SMS.
If you don’t have any banking details, individuals can collect your grant cash from Pick-N-Pay, Shoprite, Checkers, USave or Boxer stores.
The SASSA SRD R350 will be paid to beneficiaries from August 2021 until March 2024.
SASSA previously confirmed, “there is no need to rush to withdraw cash on the first day. Once the money is in the account, it will remain there until it is needed.”
