NSFAS Funding List For 2023 Has Been Released

NSFAS has recently released the funding list for the 2023 academic year. All institutions are now able to access the list of funded students.

The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has released the funding list for the 2023 academic year. The list consists of returning students and first-time students.

The list is available and accessible on the NSFAS portal to all tertiary institutions. Which makes it easier for institutions to confirm which students are funded by NSFAS.

NSFAS revealed that the list is part of an ongoing redress process which reviews appeals against 3rd party information to ensure that all in need of financial aid are able to access funding. Decisions on appeals are also being finalised upon receipt of third-party reports.

Allowances are provided to cover the following costs:

  • Learning materials or devices
  • Travelling
  • Food

  • Personal care
  • Living expenses
