Many universities in South Africa have now opened their applications for the 2024 intake but when do they close? Here are the opening and closing dates for this application season.
It’s the time of year where matrics and those wanting to study further at a university are waiting to apply. A bunch of Universities have now opened their applications.
Here are the universities who have already opened their 2024 applications as well as their closing dates:

These are only a few of the 26 public universities in South Africa which have already opened their 2024 university applications. The rest of the universities will open applications between May and July.
These universities are expected to release their application dates in the coming weeks, so keep an eye on Careers Portal so that you don’t miss the deadlines.
Keep in mind that all programmes have limited space available; therefore, you are encouraged to apply as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
